Dolci Piemontesi

The pesche ripiene (stuffed peach, on the left) is made with a mixture of crushed amaretti (almond) cookies, sugar, egg and chocolate.

Bunet contains similar flavors: amaretti and chocolate. It’s basically a chocolate amaretti pudding, made with milk and eggs. This one had a layer of coffee pudding as well. Interesting, indeed.

I think the pictures are going to have to carry some of my stories for the next week or so! Who says I want to sit around typing on a computer while I’m here in Italy? Maybe I’ll fill in the stories when I return.
