Trofie ai funghi

trofie1Was inspired last week at L’Oca, and whipped up a variation on Luca’s theme tonight, using what was in my fridge. Quite honestly, Luca’s pasta dish was much better than mine, but I can learn.

I sauteed some shitake mushrooms in butter and oil, with a sliced garlic clove, added some fresh parsley, then the cooked pasta and cubetti di ricotta salata and fontina in the bowl. It was pretty good!



  1. that sounds delicious!! can’t believe you actually used garlic!

  2. I DO use garlic sometimes; I just leave it in big chunks and then take it out.
