Pasta integrale goes mainstream

Most emailed on the New York Times today? “Fiber Meets Flavor in New Whole Grain Pastas“. More great writing, and even more impressive that the article is such a hit!  Wonder when this might eventually translate into finding farro pasta in the supermarket? Ordering online, while convenient, is not nearly as much fun as picking it up and walking it home. But then again, starting next week, I’ll be a subway ride away from Eataly all day long, so there goes my quest for Italian ingredients! I wonder what this blog should be about then? Perhaps an exploration of Italian food in New York City? I hear Arthur Avenue in the Bronx has fabulous places … and that WordPress has an iPhone app. I’ll need something to do on my train ride back, right? Am looking forward to getting back to the ‘daily practice’ of writing.
